St. Nicholas Academy has an immediate need for Respite Houseparents. Respite Houseparents are married couples who stay at St. Nicholas Academy and care for boys aged 5 to 18. You will be a supervising adult presence in a boarding school that is committed to providing a stable, loving and supportive home environment while ensuring the health and wellbeing of our boarding students. Respite houseparents commit to a weekend or 35 hours a month. They may also be asked to stay while houseparents are on vacation or away due to an emergency. You are essential in managing each student’s home away from home, by supplying continued structure at St. Nicholas while full-time houseparents are away.
This is a year-round hourly, part-time position., Each houseparent receives a stipend, meals, and use of a minivan.
