St. Nicholas Academy Mission
The Mission of St. Nicholas Academy is to partner with families to help children reach their full potential physically, academically, socially, emotionally and spiritually, in an inclusive family-setting that provides love and compassion in a protected and safe environment.
We believe every child deserves the opportunity to attain a quality education. This is our mission! We offer lodging to boys and provide them with an excellent private school education. The boys go home every weekend, on holiday and school breaks, and breaks during the summer.
St. Nicholas boys attend St. Peter Interparish School. Known for its academic excellence in education, St. Peter’s School offers an excellent academic curriculum, access to the latest technology, the arts, athletics, and extracurricular activities in an supportive atmosphere.
Houseparents, who live in the home, provide:

Summer camp experiences, swimming lessons, music lessons, sports opportunities are just a few of the fun and enriching experiences that the St. Nicholas boys enjoy throughout the year.
Criteria for Admission
- Parents partner with St. Nicholas staff.
- Boys are between age 5-10 upon enrollment.
- Boys are free of serious behavioral issues.
They don’t stay young forever, so we work toward a vision of your child enjoying a lifetime of self-reliance, independence and success on their own terms. Daily life at St. Nicholas is a built-in opportunity to learn life skills and social skills that will serve them well as adults.
